The Battle of Zallaqa (also referred to in the sources as Sagrajas) (1086) was fought on the Iberian Peninsula between the Almoravid forces and the Christian armies led by the king of Castile.

With the support of the Almoravids who had come from North Africa, the Muslim side prevailed. The battle halted the southward advance of the Christian kingdoms for a time and increased Almoravid influence in al-Andalus.
